Hello BCPS Families and Friends,

It is my honor to welcome you to the Boyd County Early Childhood Academy! We are a blended Kentucky Preschool and Head Start program servicing PreK students ages 3-5. 

Here at BCECA we strive to offer your child the best possible school start where they will meet new friends and develop a lifelong love of learning in a safe caring environment.

Research states students whose families are involved do better in school and life. Successful partnerships consist of open communication and engagement between the home, school, and community. Indeed, you are a valued part of our team! Throughout the year, we will offer special events for your family to come to BCECA and make memories together. We also have various ways you can serve as a volunteer. One of my favorite quotes by Helen Keller sums it up well: “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much!” Let’s work together to make this year the very best for our little Lion Cubs!
